We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Warehouse Layout and Optimisation Manager to lead the design, efficiency, and continuous improvement of our warehouse infrastructure. This role is crucial in ensuring optimal inventory flow, maximising space utilisation, and aligning stock levels with sales performance and demand trends. The ideal candidate has a strong background in data-driven warehouse slotting, S&OP integration, and perpetual inventory control, ensuring seamless operations from product launch to discontinuation.

Sales Performance, S&OP, and Inventory Optimisation
- Continuously review sales performance of products, adjusting warehouse configurations to align with shifting demand.
- Work through the S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning) process to ensure optimal warehouse readiness for new product launches and smooth discontinuation of obsolete SKUs.
- Analyse stock in transit, ensuring optimal stock placement upon arrival to avoid bottlenecks and overstocking in low-demand areas.
Perpetual Inventory Auditing & Control
- To drive real-time inventory auditing to maintain high stock accuracy and reduce discrepancies.
- Oversee and refine cycle counting programs, reducing the need for disruptive full physical stock takes.
- Work directly with group auditors to ensure stock accuracy, compliance, and continuous improvement in inventory controls.
- Utilize WMS and barcode tracking systems to automate inventory validation and streamline replenishment.
Operational Efficiency & Data Analytics
- Conduct workflow analysis to identify inefficiencies in receiving, put-away, and picking processes.
- Implement Lean, Six Sigma, and other process improvement methodologies to optimise operations.
