Group Creative Designer

12 months fixed term

 

Summary of duties:

Bathroom Brands Group is a leading innovator in bathroom interiors, encompassing a diverse portfolio of brands. We are seeking a talented and ambitious Creative Designer to join our marketing team to produce on-brand and creative marketing collateral for cross-channel campaigns across five established bathroom brands: Crosswater, Burlington, Britton, Clearwater Interiors & Showerwall.

This role requires self-motivation and accountability to work collaboratively within the creative and broader marketing teams on critical projects in support of growth and the overall strategy of the Bathroom Brands Group.

This role is best suited to a Creative Designer with 4+ years experience and who is eager to develop with exposure to the commercial aspects of creative design. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, capable of taking the initiative and managing their responsibilities independently while contributing effectively to the team.

 

Key areas of responsibility:

  • Design and produce brand-related creative collateral for print and digital media, including but not limited to:
    • Brochures, look-books, and other supporting materials.
    • Email marketing
    • Social media
    • Website banners and landing pages
    • Promotional materials and adverts
    • Graphics for shows, exhibitions, and events
    • Installation guides, instructions, labels, and technical data sheets (as required)
    • Business stationery
  • Create innovative ideas and designs and put them into a context so that the rest of the team, client or customer can understand
  • Execute required image manipulation, retouching and layout
  • Conceptualise visuals based on commercial briefs
  • Ensure the accuracy of copy, content, design, and layout in all work produced
  • Ensure all design work is within defined brand guidelines

 

Key internal and external relationships:

  • Work collaboratively within the wider creative team to art-direct on-trend CGIs and photography
  • Work closely aligned with the Digital & Communications team to provide critical assets to support brand websites, social media, PR, magazine advertising and consumer email comms
  • Work collaboratively with external agencies where required
  • Work collaboratively within the wider creative team on the design of all exhibitions and events across each brand
  • Work collaboratively within the wider creative team to coordinate the creative approach across each brand within the LVH showroom, and other such display spaces as required

 

Key skills and qualifications:

Required:

  • A degree in Graphic design or similar
  • Commercial experience, either in-house or within a creative agency
  • Fluent in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator & Photoshop
  • Experience in email design and build (using Mailchimp or equivalent software)
  • A talent for creative thinking and problem-solving with the ability to work methodically and meet deadlines
  • A keen eye for aesthetics and details
  • Excellent organisational skills and time management
  • Ability to work as part of a team or independently when required
  • Excellent communication skills
  • A growth mindset, believing in their ability to improve through hard work and help from other

Desirable:

  • Dreamweaver/email coding
  • Video editing
  • Copywriting
